Those of us who travel north from LA to Santa Barbara and beyond...and then return on highway 101, know well the sequence of signs along the road...Telephone Road, Victoria Avenue and Johnson Road. We always laughed with Vickey about how we thought about her as we were racing home from some beautiful place along the California coast.
Last time we visited our daughter in San Luis Obispo, I saw my husband fumbling in his backpack for his camera...and then, this clustered sign came into view. Somehow I had seen the individual signs but never this one. He pulled over to the side of the freeway...(ok it was precarious...but still...) and we snapped away! It is a nice tribute, don't you think? She is still just a thought and prayer away!
